Camp Population
The Zaatari refugee camp is located in Jordan and was established in order to accomdate Syrians fleeing the Syrian civil war. Since the founding of the refugee camp in July 2012 there has been a significant increase in population.
Type of Shelter
There are several makeshift shelters at the refugee camp and while the camp is making a transition to a full fleged settlement there are still many who have to make due with caravans and tents.
